MCOPA (formerly MCPAAA: McKinney Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association) exists to support the McKinney Police Department and community, not to fundraise. We spend our time "getting down and dirty" serving the community, and we enjoy it! That said, we do require an operating budget to maintain operations -- like this website. Our goal is to be self-supported, as well as to help the police department with some expenses such as giveaways at community events.
MCOPA is a registered 501(c)3 organization and accepts donations: cash and in-kind. Donations are tax deductible.
