MCPAAA McKinney Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association) exists to support the McKinney Police Department and community. We spend our time serving the community, and we enjoy it! That said, the Citizens On Patrol arm of our organization does maintain an operating budget. Our goal is to be self-sustaining, but we do incur expenses such as this website, uniforms, and specialized equipment.

MCOPA is a registered 501(c)3 organization and accepts donations: cash and in-kind.  Donations are tax deductible.

Current needs:

- Training/Patrol Equipment (radios, flashlights, binoculars)

- Uniforms (high visibility vests, hats, shorts)

- Technology operating (website, domain registration, etc.)
