Application Requirements:

 

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements: (a background investigation will be done)

 

  1. Be a citizen of the United States of America.

  2. Be at least 21 years of age.

  3. Be of good moral character.

  4. Be free from felony conviction.

  5. No Class A or B misdemeanor convictions within the previous two years.

  6. Successfully complete a background investigation.

  7. Exemplify integrity, loyalty, professionalism, and leadership.

  8. Possess and maintain a current and valid Texas driver's license.

  9. Possess and maintain valid vehicle liability insurance.

  10. Agree to act as an unpaid volunteer for the City of McKinney, Texas.

  11. Sign a release of liability for any personal or property damage.

  12. Provide emergency contact information.

  13. Maintain internet and email access.

  14. Commit to 80%+ attendance of the 14 week program.
