McKinney Citizens Police Academy
Alumni Association (MCPAAA)
MCPAAA is a volunteer service organization whose members have graduated from the McKinney Citizen Police Academy. MCPAAA members serve as ambassadors in the community for the McKinney Police Department.
Within MCPAAA is a specialized, trained unit of volunteers who are highly regarded by the McKinney Police Department (MPD).
The McKinney Citizens on Patrol Association (C.O.P.) is used for non-emergency calls and helps prevent and deter criminal activity. C.O.P.'s assist MPD with high visibility patrols, vacation watch, warrant calling, community awareness, city events, and Skywatch observation.
